Sam Hirst

Our Ms. Sam, Highland Elementary School, started as a parent volunteer at Highland over 10 years ago. She enjoyed her time as a volunteer and when an opportunity came up to work in the cafeteria she took it. From day 1 she built relationships with students and staff alike. She practically knows every student’s first name! Our students who need extra hugs and support – always receive it from Ms. Sam. We are fortunate to have her in our school because she lives out our school motto, Highland has heart, every day.
