Blanca Mejia

Blanca Mejia has been working in the Palm Beach Food Service for over 20 years. She has worked for Jupiter Farms Elementary before moving to Jerry Thomas Elementary. She has also worked for Summer School and helped prep meals on the Go during the Pandemic of 2020. She has demonstrated her great flexibility in her ability to serving food, cooking healthy meals, work as well working as cashier and dishwasher. In the past, she has been able to assist filling out lunch applications for parents in using her native language of Spanish. Working for Palm Beach School District has given her the opportunity to obtain numerous of benefits such as a retirement, which is something she didn’t think was possible. She goes beyond her duties, is a caring friend to her coworkers, and she continues to enjoys providing healthy meals to students to Jerry Thomas Elementary after all theses years. We are very proud to have her as apart of our Jerry Thomas Team!
